This corporate identity and logo were created as a concept in honor of the 128th anniversary of the birth of the Russian poet V. V. Mayakovsky and dedicated to the State Museum in his honor. The project was created on the basis of inspiration from the work and life of the poet:
Mayakovsky plunged headlong into love, into revolutionary ideas, into cinema, he did not know how to fawn and climbed into the thick of all events. All this I have displayed in this logo, taking as a basis the shape of the poet’s head.
The choice of primary colors fell on bright red, beige, white and black.
These colors speak of rigor, categorically, irreconcilability with general requirements and rules and were most often used in social posters created by Vladimir Vladimirovich himself.
The sharpness of Mayakovsky’s love triangle is reflected in the graphic elements of the corporate identity. This concept of corporate identity will use aspects such as creating your own line of clothing, souvenirs, accessories, as well as creating a recognizable image for easier perception of the logo. The main goal is to draw attention to the life and work of the poet and modernize the image of the poet, to create a full-fledged corporate identity and products dedicated to the memory of the Russian poet.
Currently, Mayakovsky’s work continues to live and thrive among young people, more and more introducing them to the life and values of the writer, I consider this an excellent reason to update the past design.
