National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity’ Joint Stock Company, same as the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) is universal commercial bank of Uzbekistan. It is the largest bank of Uzbekistan in the volume of assets combining the functions of project financing, universal commercial, investment and savings banks.

The principal business of the bank focuses on the policy of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan within international economic relations, promotion in development and strengthening of economic cooperation with other countries, expansion of the Republican’s export potential, improvement of exports and imports of goods and services, operation of foreign economic activity, collection of foreign exchange funds, protection of foreign exchange interests.

Objective: Restyling the corporate identity for the NBU. Every year the bank introduces more and more innovations, improves internal processes, improves the service provided, monitors trends in the world and confidently holds a leading position in the market.

The task of modernization of the image was to reflect the national identity and culture, intertwined with the trends of our time.

Solution: Within this project we completely renewed the visual style of the bank. For corporate identity restyling we took the simplified image of NBU’s logo and created a pattern, reflecting the modern national patterns, used in ceramics and textiles. Also, we adapted the patterns into containers for advertising images and independent stylizing elements on various media.
