Resister is a London-based, women-owned music agency, dedicated to combating the lack of female and non-binary representation in the music for media and brand space industry. It has established itself as the first music supervision agency to create a dedicated platform for female and gender minority music talent.

This re-branding exercise aims to communicate the brand’s core message using bold typography, emphasising the need to ‘turn up the volume’ on critical issues often overlooked in the music industry. The visual design, inspired by infographics, highlights key statistical information integral to Resister’s values, underscoring the need for positive change.

The variable identity system is particularly innovative, allowing the logo to dynamically stretch, symbolising the brand’s commitment to its mission. This adaptability represents Resister’s ongoing efforts to transform the biassed statistical landscape of the music industry. By continuously pushing for change, Resister aims to create a more inclusive environment, where female and non-binary artists receive the recognition and opportunities they deserve. This comprehensive rebranding effort not only reinforces Resister’s mission but also sets a new standard for advocacy and representation within the industry. The agency’s dedication to its cause is evident in every aspect of its rebranding, from the striking visuals to the adaptable identity system, making it a pioneering force in the fight for gender equality in music.
