RCV Music Awards Branding by HUBHUB Creative

Radio Christian Voice in Zambia needed a comprehensive brand identity for their Christian Music Awards (RCVMA). This included creating a visual identity that would resonate with the event’s purpose and audience, encompassing a logo, color palette, trophy design, and various motion graphics to be used across different platforms.

To bring the RCVMA brand to life, we developed a dynamic identity inspired by the Silimba, a traditional Zambian xylophone-like instrument. This cultural reference provided a strong visual connection to the local musical heritage, reinforcing the deep-rooted traditions of gospel music in Zambia. The logo system was designed to incorporate representations of the Silimba alongside sound wave motifs, symbolizing both the rhythmic nature of music and its power to reach and inspire people.

This core visual language was extended into the trophy design, ensuring that the physical award itself became a meaningful and recognizable part of the RCVMA brand. The trophy reflects the elegance and significance of the awards, making it a coveted symbol of achievement within the gospel music community.

Beyond the static elements, we also developed a suite of motion graphics tailored for various applications, including social media promotions, event transitions, and on-screen visuals for the awards ceremony. These animations were crafted to enhance the overall experience, adding energy and engagement to both digital and live event environments.

The result is a cohesive and visually compelling brand identity that captures the spirit of RCVMA, celebrating both musical excellence and cultural heritage.
