For this design concept I’ve created a number of minimalist illustrations using a limited set of basic geometrical shapes and only worked with angles in 30º increments. On top of that I also used a minimal colour pallet and subtle organic textures. This principle ensured that the graphics would tie together nicely with the typographical logo and that elements between the different illustrations are interchangeable. This would insure me that I could make a large variety of variations between the different illustrations and extend them whenever I needed.

The product’s claim is to be “Pure” as the name suggests. No additional colouring or flavours are added to the drink which consists only of juice from concentrate and sparkling water. This philosophy of a pure and honest product is reflected in the style of the illustrations and design. The goals was to convey this message to the target audience via the graphics and have the product look appealing and tasty at the same time. The vibrant colours used in the graphics resemble a flavoursome and refreshing drink while the added texture represents a healthy and organic beverage.

The result is a harmonious design that’s not only suitable for use on the actual packaging but on many different promotional materials such as boxes, posters, adverts as well. By doing so certain for of subconscious recognition with the target audience emerges every time they are confronted wit one of the many promotional items. This increases a familiar feeling when they come across the actual product on the store shelf, even if it’s the first time they do so.
