Design and illustration of custom packaging for the “takke away” service of Pukkel, a new restaurant located in the city of Huesca, Spain. Pukkel is a healthy food restaurant that opened its doors at the beginning of 2021. Its philosophy is to work with local and real products, avoiding refined sugars and flours, without unnecessary additives.

At the time of starting the project, the client had many doubts as to whether they would have to offer the “takke away” service before the restaurant itself could open (due to COVID restrictions). For this reason, we decided to show on the packaging itself, through vectorial illustrations, different characteristic elements that customers would find and recognise once they were able to visit the premises. All the illustrations were created based on a geometry that can be found in every corner of the restaurant, such as: the square floor tiles; the circular spaces formed by the tables, benches and chairs; the glassware used for the cocktails; etc. These, and other elements, are represented in the boxes and stickers, which serve as seals for the sugar cane containers, with the aim of giving a more casual air to this home-delivery food service.

It is unusual to find this type of box in a takeaway food service. Therefore, we worked on a box that was aesthetically attractive, easy to transport and reusable. We also added a handle to facilitate the transport, if necessary, of several boxes at the same time.
For this project we made the packaging for the lunch and breakfast boxes.
