At the threshold of 20 years of activity, Psicodizione has become a leading reality in Italy in overcoming stuttering: 7,250 people have taken back their lives, 2,014 kids have regained confidence in the future, 594 families have given expressive fluency to their preschooler. Psicodizione is the method that helps people overcome stuttering, free their thinking from the perception of jams and the idea of not being able to freely express what is clear in their minds. Through an organization of professionals, it holds intensive courses and conducts informational conferences, awareness-raising and training activities to promote culture, good information on the subject and help break down taboos and social exclusion.
Psicodizione undertook a revamp of its visual identity and digital strategy with Cappelli Identity Design, an Italian studio specializing in brand design, communication and digital strategies. The challenge was to create an identity that reflected fluidity, power and clarity, and to develop an effective digital presence to reach a wider audience given that 1 million people in Italy face this disorder. This design process through Cappelli Identity Design’s “Dynamic brand” methodology transformed and repositioned the identity of Psicodizione. The new logo, composed of the linear letter “”D”” containing the “”P,”” represents the process of liberation from stuttering. This concept is also reflected in the logotype, with the close opening initial letters. The color palette, with charged and vivid hues, conveys the expressive potential of people overcoming stuttering.
An evolution of visual language that stems from listening and the energy of the people within: welcoming and interpreting this movement, it has transformed the communication of Psicodizione by enhancing its identity and communicative power. With a robust digital presence and a unique visual identity, soon to be applied to all materials, Psicodizione is ready to continue its mission of helping people release their voices.
