Few brands can afford to go into a rebranding process. Beyond a budget issue, rebranding projects make more sense for established brands, which have lived and survived decades and need to evolve according to their context. Presto is an Italian-peruvian pizza and pasta restaurant and an emblematic brand of southern Peru with more than 30 years in the market and presence in a variety of cities around the country.
The problem we encountered was that the brand needed to get away from the fast food territory, doing justice to the high quality of its supplies and ingredients used, as well as the warm and friendly experience customers have when visiting the restaurants. We created a new strategy for the brand which came accompanied by a new visual identity to showcase the new Presto and get out of the territory it had been put in but where it doesn’t belong.
The new image of Presto brings together the familiar, coziness and fun with the mixture and variety of Italian-Peruvian flavors. We have created a fresher, younger and more casual identity that makes you feel that in Presto it is like an eternal Sunday; surrounded with family, friends, and good food, nothing to worry about. This translates into the brand assets, the restaurant design, the photography and the whole look & feel.
It was very important to us that the rebranding maintains strategic coherence at all levels: visual identity, voice, tone and style of communication, interior design and packaging.
We worked on the strategy, a new visual identity and the following applications: commercial stationary, restaurant stationary, packaging, uniforms, vehicle branding, interior design look & feel, stickers, amongst others. We also were responsible for the creative direction in a photoshoot held in their restaurants where we were able to show the new Presto.
