Project Problem:
Primal Sweets had a genuinely strong product, but the packaging didn’t communicate that value at first glance. Visually, it felt outdated and generic, lacking appetite appeal and emotional pull — two critical factors in the modern snack and functional food space. On shelf and online, it struggled to stand out next to newer, more design-forward brands. For a high-protein product, the nutritional benefits and macros weren’t immediately clear, making it harder for customers to quickly understand why they should choose it. Overall, the brand didn’t feel exciting, premium, or “shareable,” which limited its potential on social media and digital platforms. In addition, Primal Sweets needed a Shopify website that was simple, intuitive, and scalable — clean enough for customers to navigate effortlessly, while also being easy for the client to manage and update.

We led a full visual refresh of the packaging, introducing a bold, modern design system that immediately grabs attention and elevates perceived value. The new layout puts clarity first: macros and key benefits are clearly structured and easy to scan, while still feeling playful and inviting. Each flavor was given strong visual differentiation, helping the lineup feel cohesive yet dynamic. The overall look balances premium cues with an approachable, crave-worthy aesthetic that feels right at home on both retail shelves and social feeds. The Shopify site followed the same design logic — minimal, clean, and conversion-focused. Navigation was simplified, visual hierarchy refined, and the experience optimized for fast browsing and confident purchasing. Together, the packaging and website now feel cohesive, modern, and built to perform across both e-commerce and physical retail.
