Design and production of canned beer packaging for a craft brewery based in Prešov. The project included the development of a comprehensive brand identity and the redesign of the logo, naming, and wording, with the aim of creating a cohesive and consistent visual system across the entire product line. The result is a unified series of packaging designs for nine beer varieties, combining a distinctive illustrative approach with a clearly defined brand character. The work was carried out as a full-scope process, from initial concept development and art direction to illustration, typography, and final production-ready outputs.
The core concept is inspired by the archetype of men from eastern Slovakia, known for their resilience, resourcefulness, and ability to adapt wherever they may find themselves in the world. They never truly lose their way; instead, they rely on their own instincts, find solutions, and handle situations on their own terms. This narrative naturally shapes a brand identity built on authenticity, wit, and a sense of community among connoisseurs who appreciate “honestly crafted, proper artisan beer” and value both the quality and the story behind the product.
AI was used strictly as a supportive tool during the illustration phase, primarily as a source of raw visual material generated through repeatedly rewritten and carefully refined prompts. All subsequent processing, compositional decisions, detailing, and final visual adjustments were executed manually to maintain full authorship, ensure stylistic consistency, and achieve a high level of craft and visual quality in the final design.
