Polline Wine Label Design

Polline Wine Label Design

In the renewed dialogue between San MarzanoWines and nature, a new beauty to share. In the air and in the glasses, the scent of white flowers, ripe peaches and apricots. The sweetness of an Apulian summer. From the most representative vine of Puglia’s sweet wines comes Polline, Moscato Passito San Marzano. Polline, a name full of meanings, to raise awareness of respect for natural resources and biodiversity.San Marzano Wines has installed beehives in one of its estates, where a biodiversity protection project has already started, in order to trigger a mutually beneficial relationship, for the bees and for its crops.

The pollination work of the bees favours the reproduction of the plants between the rows, improving soil fertility and ensuring greater biodiversity in the vineyard.
San Marzano Wines launched this project in conjunction with the release of its new wine, Polline, a passito moscato to which the company wanted to give the proper name of the nourishment of these precious little insects.

Primordial sweetness that brings life: Polline. Usopposto has designed this label as a geometric design that recalls the succession of hives, with pointed shapes like the sting of bees. A single golden cell with a hammered effect, as a reminder that the most precious gifts always come from hard work. As well as the shapes that make up the label, the font was also designed ad hoc to give greater homogeneity to the project. Four different Pantone colours to underline the variety of perfumes in a flowery field, shades of purple like the berries of the bunches of grapes that stand out against a straw yellow background. A sweet and perfect romantic picture.
