Pluri – A World Where Many Worlds Fit
Pluri Cafés Especiais is a proudly Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazilian, Latin American and human micro-roaster. We are specialized in great coffees beans, cultivated by small and medium-sized producers, mostly these producers are from family farming. The beans are roasted in an artisanal way. These beans were taken care of with a lot of commitment and care: from planting to arrival at your homes, cafeterias, emporiums, clinics, restaurants, offices, events, or any other good occasion to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Pluri is inspired by Latin America, the diversity of its peoples and its coffees. It proposes a vision from Minas Gerais of this sensorial pluriverse, seeking to honor the coffee tradition of this state, while at the same time, we are open to the exchange and acceptance of new ideas. Therefore, Pluri exalts the encounter, the celebration, the collectivity, the care, the creativity and the connection with the Earth. Abya Yala.
The variety of bean types and sensory characteristics of the special coffee connects with the brand’s central concept of “a world where several worlds fit”, which inspires and emphasizes this idea through the expressiveness of the shapes and anatomy of the logo’s letters, evoking the diverse experience of having a coffee, to create a brand that surprises, drawing the eye to the tasting of each of its letters, like someone looking for sensory notes in a special coffee.
Each letter carries different typographic expressions, from vernacular to urban, from traditional to cosmopolitan, representing the most diverse cultural characteristics of the so-called “Global South” and thus building unity in diversity.
