Pink Lions Rebranding for a Chain of Schools of Foreign Languages

The First Kyiv Courses is a chain of 4 schools in the ancient Ukrainian city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, where for more than 20 years they have been teaching children and adults foreign languages, preparing for international exams, and raising the professional level of teachers. Pink LionsAgency has implemented a rebranding that includes a new brand strategy, corporate identity, and communication. The First Kyiv Courses are very recognizable in the city and are a kind of love mark among those who study foreign languages. Our task was to systematize marketing processes and formulate a new positioning.

Also, we have created a business model, which includes the formulation of the value proposition, customer segments and relationships with them, options for profitable partnerships, and more. The main task of the corporate identity, in this case, is to emphasise the uniqueness of the school, its solid work experience, and convey the idea that learning takes place in an atmosphere of benevolence and openness. The First Kyiv Courses work in 5 areas: Foreign languages for children, Foreign languages for adults, Preparing students for external evaluation,Preparation for international language tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PET, etc.) and Educational and methodical center for teachers

We have developed our own symbol for each direction. These symbols are now used in the design of posts for social networks, internal navigation and communication. As branded colours, we have chosen bright shades of blue, coral, and warm yellow, which makes the brand visible both in the digital environment and on printed materials – signs, business cards, city lights, protective face masks, etc. A new corporate style and a unified communication strategy make it possible to attract a new audience. A system of the visual design of pages and publications on social networks was developed. We have prepared the materials in such a way that the team can easily use them for publications and interaction with local media partners. The new corporate style and communication of the “First Kyiv Courses” brand are already being actively implemented by the client’s team – in the design of offices, the formation of a content plan, in the process of creating advertising and planning public activities.
