Peri is a brand of colourful decorative cosmetics from Georgia. It reflects boldness and brightness united with the desire to show oneself and one’s individuality. Peri cosmetics is created for those who can experiment and want to express their individuality through bright colours and unique textures. The target audience is girls aged 17 to 25 who are looking for unique and quality products to emphasise their beauty and style. They are open to new experiences, they recognise the importance of quality and want to support local brands.
One of the key ideas behind the brand’s design concept is the use of the Georgian alphabet as a source of inspiration. Some letters of the alphabet have been transformed into icons symbolising make-up and cosmetics. This gives the typography a youthful and playful look, which reflects the main metaphor of the brand. These icons can be used either as part of words or separately, combined with photos and cosmetics products.
The brand has a dynamic logo that also involves icons. This shows the wide variation of the brand and a reflection of its personality. It helps create a dynamic and modern brand image, demonstrating flexibility and an innovative approach to design.
To demonstrate the idea, I have developed a merchandising range for the brand including t-shirts, packaging, stickers, bags with Peri symbols etc, also a variety of different advertising posters, banners and social media.
