For this year’s Christmas promotional mailer, which we send to our clients as a heartfelt thank-you for their continued support throughout the year, we wanted to do something a little different. Rather than focusing on the typical festive noise and excess, we chose to centre our message on what Christmas truly represents. At its core, Christmas is about slowing down, taking a breath, and reconnecting with the people who matter most—friends, family, and loved ones who often get lost in the busyness of everyday life.

With this sentiment in mind, we set out to create something that embodied that idea of pause and reflection. Drawing inspiration from a well-loved Christmas favourite, Sloe Gin, we developed our own festive variation, thoughtfully named Slow Gin. More than just a seasonal drink, Slow Gin is intended as a gentle reminder to savour the moment rather than rush through it. It encourages taking time out, sharing a quiet drink, and enjoying meaningful conversations during a season that can so easily become hectic.

Each bottle was created with care and intention, designed to feel both festive and reflective of the message we wanted to share. To complement the Slow Gin, we also wrote a poem that captures the true spirit of Christmas. The poem reflects on the importance of pressing pause, appreciating the present, and valuing time spent with loved ones over material distractions. It serves as a simple but powerful reminder that the most meaningful moments of the season are often the slow, quiet ones.

Together, the Slow Gin and the accompanying poem form a thoughtful expression of our gratitude. They represent our appreciation for the relationships we’ve built over the year and our wish that this Christmas offers moments of calm, connection, and joy. Through this mailer, we hope to encourage everyone to slow down, reflect, and truly enjoy the season for what it is meant to be—a time of togetherness, warmth, and meaningful celebration.
