Everards Farm is a Grade II listed 17th century farmhouse, cottage and outbuildings set in 18 acres of wonderful countryside in the Mendip Hills, now exquisitely designed as luxury accommodation.
Everards Farm is not just a place; it’s a legacy. Established generations ago, the farm stands as a testament to farming, community values, and a deep respect for nature. Each corner of Everards Farm tells a story, intertwined with the heritage of the land and the iconic animals that have been part of our journey.
Working with the new owners we soon established that the farm’s heritage was what not only attracted them to purchase the space but also what gave the environment all of its character.
Creating a branding design for Everards Farm that incorporates the heritage of the site and uses iconic farm animals to give purpose to each space can create a cohesive and engaging experience for visitors
The new owners had inherited ducks that had taken up residency in the three ponds on site and they had quickly purchased some goats. As the main residents on site it felt right for them to become part of the core logo for the venture.
We set out to really encapsulate the character of the farm and the characters you would find on site. But we had to elevate it beyond a farm as the level of detail that went into the restoration of the spaces was truly breathtaking.
Using a synonymous icon of farming, a gate we soon found the solution; cropping the gate to form the letter E for Everards and a kind of modern day monogram. Then adding the duck and goat really gave the personality that was required to balance the craftsmanship of the work but also the heritage and playfulness.
By weaving the heritage of Everards Farm with iconic farm animals, you create a unique and immersive branding experience. This approach not only highlights the farm’s rich history but also brings each area of the farm to life with purpose and character, making it memorable for visitors.
