Parady Elevates Yanaa With a Design System Balancing Performance and Playfulness

Yanaa is redefining the future of sports nutrition with 100% natural savoury purées, carefully crafted for athletes who want to fuel up the right way. In a market dominated by ultra-processed energy bars and sugary gels, Yanaa stands apart with a radically simple idea: provide real food, designed for endurance and performance, made only with organic and locally sourced ingredients. Each product combines taste, quality and efficiency, proving that nutrition for athletes can be both healthy and enjoyable.
To bring this bold vision to life, we developed a strong and distinctive brand identity rooted in the very name: Yanaa, short for You Are Not An Astronaut. The concept plays on the irony that while athletes often fuel like astronauts with industrial products, Yanaa brings them back to earth with natural, real food. This duality gave birth to a visual universe that blends performance and playfulness.
The brand identity is centered around the symbolic figure of an astronaut, a character that evokes adventure, exploration and high-level challenge, while contrasting with the naturalness of the recipes. The visual system balances clean, precise graphic codes that communicate quality and trust, with light mixed-media illustrations that inject humor, freshness and creativity. This combination creates a memorable look and feel, reflecting both the brand’s fun spirit and its commitment to serious athletic performance.
One of the most distinctive elements is found in the logo itself: the Y features a custom dot, representing planet Earth. This small but powerful detail underlines Yanaa’s values of responsibility and sustainability, while also connecting the brand to its slightly cosmic, offbeat identity. Beyond a simple graphic sign, it is a symbol of the brand’s mission — to keep athletes grounded, nourished and connected to what really matters.
With this identity, Yanaa positions itself as more than just a food brand: it becomes a movement that questions conventions, inspires athletes to rethink their nutrition and embraces a new era where performance and naturalness go hand in hand.
