Packaging design for a new line of coconut snacks and rice snacks inspired by Thai cuisine. The project aims to create a strong, expressive, and contemporary visual identity capable of communicating origin, flavor, and personality at first glance on shelf, while appealing to an international audience interested in discovering authentic flavors from different cultures.
The visual system is built around a clear and flexible brand architecture that brings together two distinct product families — coconut chips and Thai rice chips — each with three different flavors. Color plays a central role as the primary organizational element, enabling immediate differentiation between varieties while maintaining coherence across the entire range. The bold, saturated palette draws inspiration from Asian gastronomy and reinforces the vibrant, flavorful character of the snacks.
Typography is designed to ensure maximum legibility and a strong hierarchy of information, prioritizing brand recognition, product name, and flavor. The front-facing composition is clean and impactful, supported by illustrated and graphic elements that add movement, context, and a distinctive brand language rooted in Thai visual references.
The system is conceived to be highly scalable, allowing for seamless expansion into new SKUs, formats, and future product lines. The final result is a functional yet expressive packaging solution that connects the product’s Thai origin with a global consumer seeking authenticity, bold flavor, and a memorable visual identity.
