Viblance
David and Zsolt started the company in a garage. Not because of the romantic notion of a garage startup company, but because that was their only option. No money. No help. Just two best friends. Eager and broke with a goal to make change happen.
And they did – they’ve reached tens of thousands of people and plan to reach much more. They’ve moved out of the garage, but nothing else has changed about them. They never cut corners. If a new product doesn’t meet their standards, they won’t ship it. ‘Okay’ is not good enough. Always improving, little by little.
Viblance is the first in Hungary and among the first few in Europe to launch granola in bar form. They reimagined the energy bar and went back to the basics, making a snack with real ingredients that you find in your kitchen, treating your body with more than just sweetness and protein. They combined that with what they are good at, which is making granola. The result? A deliciously chewy granola bar with a blend of nuts and seeds mixed together with premium nut creams, cashew cream, hazelnut cream,…sweetened with high quality dates, Deglet Nour. This granola bar is made for gourmet lovers who seek out flavors with character and care about what goes into their body.
My goal was to create a design that accentuates the high quality of the granola bars and attracts the buyer’s attention. I really enjoyed this design process – I like to look for playful typographic solutions. I used a very light buttercream color for the background and selected two colors for each flavor – the thin golden lines and textures with the minimal, decorative patterns of the ingredients were designed with the intention to give the result of a classic and elegant look.
