Packaging Design for Granola Products

Packaging Design for Granola Products

Eden Barzilay – Grains & Goods (Student Concept)

As part of the Visual Communication studies at Shenkar, in the packaging design course, I was asked to design packages for oatmeal and granola products. During the research on these products, what excited me most was their complexity, the mixes created to reach a single rich product like granola, muesli and various flavored porridges.

The various ingredients create a free, random and colorful composition that is fun to eat! We are all sinners in selective collection of our favorite ingredients from the granola, it’s just the most fun way to eat it!

In my design I wanted to emphasize the lightness and fun of these products, using composition, shape and color. Each product is packed in the right packaging for the way it is consumed – the porridge comes in packages for one dish, the muesli spills from the long bag into the bowl and the granola comes in a traditional jar.
