Tostín is a conceptual packaging developed from the need to include healthy products in the snack market, ideal for people who want to take care of their diet. Tostín is inclined towards good eating, having a transparent production chain without hidden additives, in order to question the way we consume and buy. In this context, the slogan “be transparent, eat fruit” was designed.
In the research we discovered that this category is largely industrialized, there are thousands of products that hide their production processes and are not completely honest with the additives contained in their snacks, being a public that wants to maintain a healthy lifestyle we found here an opportunity for improvement. In the visual aspect, we found designs with green colors, earth colors and worn typographies, we wanted to move away from this aesthetic and propose a different and modern design.
The project was solved by separating the product into three packages with different mixes; the first package contains apple, mango and orange, the second contains papaya, pear and blueberry, the third contains banana, kiwi and peach. The mixes are strategically selected to provide an experience of flavor, smell and texture in each bag, finding the ideal amount of sweetness, acidity and bitterness characteristic of the fruits, in that sense we want to make consumers understand that eating healthy can be fun. Each fruit is represented by a simple illustration full of gradients with characteristic colors, in addition to a grotesque typography that covers a large part of the front panel to highlight the product and its contents.
We can say that Frutín is ideal for all those people who want a simple product, without having to read the small print or investigate deeply its ingredients. Perfect for athletes and fitness lovers. It also provides benefits that anyone would like; energy, good metabolism and satiety during the day.
Currently the project has not been sold or marketed and is available, as long as the proposal is directed to the concept and realization of the project as it has been realized
