ONETOO’s Bold Colors and Playful Typography Redefine Bathroom Retail with Plumbed’s Fresh Branding

Plumbed Experience Possibility

With grand visions of transforming the current clearance centre, a pseudo-junkyard of a plumbing supply store, into a more retail friendly, engaging and accessable bathroom centre, Andrew and Daniel approached us to create a brand that could support their vision, while claiming a new space in the market where they could provide unique and distinct value for their customers.

A lot of the plumbing and bathroom stores that they compete with are either treacherous junkyards, complete with teetering towers of unorganised stock and tripping hazards galore, or up-market, la-de-da showrooms with high-brow staff and pristine, “don’t touch” showrooms with inflated egos and price tags to match.

We saw an opportunity to define a position between these two extremes. A build a brand around a retail space that is tidy, organised, and focused on the customer experience. Where the prices were fair and affordable for the average home renovator. And where customers can play and interact with the products without pretentious ‘bathroom experts’ shooting glares. A space for them to experience possibility.

From this vision, Plumbed was born.

Leaning into bold colours, intriguing forms and playful typography, we created a brand that is confident, fun, and experiential, balanced with a level of polish, professionalism and approachability. Intentionally steering clear of overly clean and minimal aesthetics that could feel too exclusive or high-end, ensuring that the brand remained welcoming to a broad audience.
