Liverpool agency OneMay support Aimia with a full rebrand

Having defined a three-year strategy, Aimia brought in OneMay, a Liverpool based design agency, in to craft a completely new visual and verbal identity, to support the business direction, and to temp position them as a ‘house of brands.

Aimia Foods, who were founded in the North West in 1989, have a long standing history of producing own brand products, as well as managing, manufacturing, and distributing some of the world’s best-loved brands; including Horlicks, Galaxy, PG Tips & more.

Aimia said: “we wanted to refresh our identity to be fresher, clearer and distinct that allows us to talk about the brands that we are proud to work with, without sacrificing the equity in the Aimia Foods brand. This has all started with a logo that has been designed for maximum impact that sits well next to other logos.”

To us, a brand identity should be greater than the sum of its parts, and although there are core elements that we redesigned, such as the logo, the type, colour etc, our primary focus was on delivering a consistent and cohesive brand system, exploring how all of the elements come together in a distinctive way that Aimia can own.”
