Olman Branding Guides Dacto’s Transition from Generic to High-Impact Financial Branding

Olman Branding Guides Dacto’s Transition from Generic to High-Impact Financial Branding

The rebranding project for RV Consultoria Contábil started with a scenario that’s common among locally established firms facing challenges to grow and position themselves strategically in the digital space. Despite having a solid and efficient operation, the brand lacked a distinctive name, visual recognition, and a scalable identity.

Our first step was a complete brand diagnosis, crossing inputs from partners, employees, and market benchmarks. This revealed a company with a strong consultative mindset, close client relationships, and high technical expertise — but with a generic name and a forgettable visual system.

The solution began with the name: “Dacto” was created to be short, phonetically strong, memorable, and legally registrable. It carries a modern, technical tone, while remaining semantically open — making it flexible for future growth beyond traditional accounting.

Visually, we developed a segmented triangle symbol, representing the three core pillars identified in the strategic diagnosis: the vision of partners, the team, and the clients. Its rightward orientation reinforces the ideas of progress, guidance, and forward-thinking. The triangle also fills a visual gap in a segment where most brands rely on wordmarks or generic circular symbols.

The visual language is built on a modern blue (Triângulo Azul), institutional black, and complementary tones that offer contrast and flexibility for both digital and print applications. Glass-like and pixelated textures reinforce a sense of transparency and technological fluency. The custom logotype, set in all caps with softened corners, balances authority with approachability.

More than just a logo redesign, this project aimed to visually express a clear value proposition: personalized delivery, data security, and strategic clarity in financial planning. The result is a visually solid, conceptually sharp, and functionally scalable brand — ready to perform across multiple touchpoints.
