About the brand: ODC is a construction company that aims to provide all the services needed by the client to build their house from design to construction, ensuring the final result. It comprises a professional team specialized in all stages required for the house building process, ensuring that every detail adheres to the correct and approved construction standards.

We worked to create the brand from scratch, so that we worked to distinguish ODC among its competitors by choosing a unique approach and conducting numerous studies to analyze competitors and determine the weak points and gaps that ODC must fill in order to obtain a strong and stable positioning for it

What was the inspiration behind the logo design: The logo concept was designed to be simple while maintaining a balance to avoid over-simplicity, ensuring the result remains relatable to the target audience. It was crafted to convey the professionalism, precision, and attention to detail of the company in its work and project details.
The idea for the logo was derived from the concept that the company provides comprehensive services to clients, from design to completion, aiming to fulfill their dream home aspirations. Hence, the inspiration was drawn from construction blueprints, which mark the initial steps of every building project. We focused on the angles and shapes used in these blueprints to form the outline of a house from within. We emphasised the shape of the letter “O” from the outside, as it’s the first letter of the company’s name and holds significance for the client. We decided that the overall shape of the logo should be octagonal to signify precision and its association with angles and straight lines found in blueprints.

What is the story behind the creation of Wordmark? Since we decided that our logo would be a combination of icon and logotype, we needed to choose a font that suits our brand vision and is consistent with the details of the icon that we worked on. Therefore, we experimented with several fonts to reach the font that we deem appropriate. But we did not reach the font we wanted, so we decided to design the wordmark for our logo ourselves to produce it in a manner appropriate to the direction we chose.
