We created a comprehensive visual identity for the Noera hotel amenities range, meticulously covering essential aspects such as naming, logotype, packaging design, and the industrial design of the containers. Our initial focus was on naming, during which we developed the term Noera (pronounced noerá), a Greek word derived from the term νους (nous), meaning “mind.” This choice of name denotes something inherently mental or intellectual, aligning perfectly with a wellness approach that emphasizes holistic beauty routines and the importance of mental well-being. By establishing this connection, we create a deeper resonance with consumers who seek more meaningful and enriching personal care experiences.
The design positioning of a sphere resting over a cylinder represents a clear visual metaphor for the harmonious connection and interdependence between mind and body. This interplay of shapes emphasizes balance, suggesting that true wellness is a union of physical and mental health. Additionally, the abstract figures we designed for the packaging elegantly straddle the line between the human form and the container itself, reflecting a celebration of the human experience and forging a connection with themes of self-care and personal pleasure.To enhance the aesthetic appeal, we made a deliberate choice of muted colors, which are juxtaposed with a bold black typographic block, creating a sophisticated visual dynamic. This combination not only adds elegance but also captures attention. Furthermore, the consistent design language maintained across all the containers fosters a cohesive visual identity, ensuring that each product feels like a part of a larger narrative, inviting users to engage in a complete sensory experience with the Noera brand.
