“Packaging Design for Contemporary İstanbul. I decided to use Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi (Turkish coffee brand) to show the harmony of Ottoman and Contemporary art. My concept is variety, and to show this, I choose the art of Ebru, Ottoman pattern and Ottoman binding art with some of the Turkish artists works in Contemporary Istanbul Exhibition. I used these art combinations on the little coffee pockets. Also there is variety of flavors and form of pockets which are mastic gum and chocolate flavors in rectengular packages, cinnemon and mint flavor Turkish coffee in triangle packages. We see numbers on each package, these numbers contains the which art belongs which artist and Ottoman figure.”
