The overhaul included naming, brand platform development, visual identity, packaging design, and communications aligned with Foxgear’s revitalized ethos.
The name Foxgear bridges its heritage with bold innovation. “FOX” nods to Fuchs Oil (from the German Fuchs, which is the last name of company’s founder but also is a “fox”) and symbolizes the brand’s agility in solving complex challenges, while “GEAR” underscores technical precision and local market resonance.
The redesigned logo merges the original Fuchs Oil’s circular motifs—emblematic of perpetual motion—into a dynamic F-G ligature. This sharper, more intentional mark reflects the brand’s evolution while ensuring instant recognition across all touchpoints. The packaging’s bold, energetic aesthetic reflects Foxgear’s core values: confidence, uncompromising quality, and professionalism. Striking a balance between modernity and familiarity, the design retains visual continuity for existing Fuchs Oil clients, easing brand transition without sacrificing impact.
