New Identity and Website for Printosis Designed by New Genre

Printosis is a revolutionary tool that fuses AI with orthotists using scans and patient data to generate a printable 3D model, fabricating a perfect-fit orthotic on the first attempt. Printosis will drastically reduce patient visits to the hospital and eliminate the waste of ill-fitting orthotics, embodying efficiency and sustainability in every step.

A unique product demands a bespoke identity. For Printosis, this meant crafting a brand that embodies function and efficiency with a modern, trustworthy feel. Working closely with the founder, we developed a cohesive brand language, working across both the visual identity and website.

We used green to stand out in a medical space dominated by blues and whites, creating a brand that works in dark mode as well as light mode. The colour palette emulates Printosis’ dedication to sustainability, while infusing the electric green into the brand, solidifies its nature as a digital tool.

Translating the accuracy, innovation and the function first approach of the brand we used Familjen Grotesk as the main typeface, working both in display and in precise body copy. The small flairs on the ends of the letters conveyed a sense that the letters were still being printed. This can be seen in both the i’s and the t’s.
Using the 3D scans created by Printosis we produced a series of the 3D renders and videos, showcasing the orthotic in art directed scenes. We used these renders and videos across the brand, showcasing the beauty of the human form and abstract organic shapes it can create.

We designed a brand system that empowers Printosis to change the industry of orthotics, giving doctors a toolset for the future. Custom orthotics are made to last, so is the identity for Printosis – unique, universal and standing outside of the mould.
