As the ice cream industry is heavily commercialized where scoop shops purchase readymade flavors from Italy to be mixed with milk or water, Dara’s quality and innovative flavors immediately stood out. Dara’s Ice Cream disrupted the market with her super premium quality and extraordinary in-store experience at her scoop shops.
Brand Experience: Standing behind her brand by producing ice cream, serving guests and personally managing her online marketing, Dara reflected how genuine and passionate she is about Ice cream. As the owner of Dara’s Ice Cream and as a passionate entrepreneur she has amassed a strong fan-base and followers that are happy to see her expand and grow while they are taking part in her success story.
Brief / Challenge: The challenge with Dara’s Ice Cream new retail packs for supermarkets was how to transfer the excitement and convey that happiness associated with Dara’s brand in the static supermarket’s environment.
Solution: Tandem created a unique brand expression celebrated in original dynamic illustrations expressing Dara’s Ice Cream bursting flavors using vibrant colors to make the packs radiant and stand out on the shelf. Each pack is endorsed with Dara’s personal message and her signature, it reflects the personal care and attention of the company’s owner towards each and every aspect of her products.
Results: The results were impressive; the launch of the new packaging design was a great success. The packs stood out from the competition instantly and triggered a word of mouth buzz in the market. This memorable design made Dara’s Ice Cream instantly stand out from the competition and helped position Dara’s as a leader in the “All Natural Artisanal Ice Cream” sector in the region.
