NEP Vietnamese Alcoholic Beverage Label Design

NEP Vietnamese Alcoholic Beverage Label Design

A long long time ago, alcoholic beverage is an indispensable part in our Vietnamese people’s daily cultural lifestyle. Through a length of history, if “a betel is a beginning of any conversations”, then “a cup of wine takes the initiative of any parties”. Those cups of wine solemnly spreading from those rituals, special festivals, Lunar New Year holiday, etc. have been gradually come appearing on our cozy family dining tables in daily life. Inspired heartily by traditional yet familiar cup of wine in our dishes as the appetite enhancer, NEP was born in the close-knitted tie with intimate tiny things at where our family meals stand. From those rice fields, NEP, as a whole preservation of essence from generations, has itself mission of cultural value together with the original taste of another level from the land of Binh Dinh. Eventually, when coming to our beloved customers’ hand, NEP defines itself as a journey of taste & culture fulfilling our daily conventional meals with affection  and embrace.

On those sunny days: Tip-toeing upon the swing of time, the day those paddy fields turning to golden yellow brightly is always marked with our wide smile in joy. It also signals the new journey of inspiring fermented glutinous rice called NEP has just started…

Inspiration: Vietnamese people’s traditional dining tray have a circle shape? Several answers with differentiating explanations come along such as the symbolization of the Sun, the Moon, etc. However, firstly, a circle turns out to make sense in all way – perhaps, or at least in the way it’s round enough to spiritually & physically connect all people enjoying the meal together. “The garde manger” is built up with 3 floors. The lowest one without main doors are mainly used to dry out pots & pans. The middle one is covered with a pile of wood handling plates & bowls inside. On the top of it, the highest floor is surrounded with a grid of timber sticks even at the front door. On the either side, there is a basket of chopsticks, spoons or ladles. As usual, at its four legs, our Vietnamese people usually put 4 bowls of water in order to avoid from the violation of ants or cockroaches.
