My Creative go into the woods — Hazelnut and Heather Honey Spiced Rum

Séolta Spirits is a celebration of curious creatures, enchanting places, and wild spirits. Pronounced “Sholl-tuh”, our Gaelic name celebrates the craft & cunning of Scotland’s wildlife, and its history of producing unforgettable liquid tipples! Small Batch Scottish Rum — crafty by nature. A Caribbean base, redistilled with Hazelnuts to create a rich Hazelnut Rum. Infused with locally sourced Heather Honey and spiced with Ginger, Orange Peel, Allspice, and Cloves. Aged with toasted oak chips, the spirit is smooth, sweet, nutty, warming, and importantly, unique. Created in partnership with The Biggar Spirits Co.

My Creative helped design and launch their Honey & Hazelnut Spiced Rum, a first-of-its-kind Scottish-style rum inspired by the habitat of iconic Scottish wildlife, such as the Red Squirrel, which forages for the ingredients used to make the rum. This industrious and beautiful creature became a key icon of the brand. It is hidden in the forest of this die-cut label and also illustrated in the logo and brand marks. We also considered the forest, the shapes and the shadows and of course the flavour profile the rum presents. These flavour profiles were then used to depict Scottish landscapes in layers of colour, forming a mountain range or seascape. Linking the product and source directly to the brand.
