Mustélidée Handmade Jewelry Brandind by Thony Girard

Mustélidée is a handmade jewelry brand from France. I assisted in the creation of the brand by envisioning its entire graphic universe. Silhouettes of otters in motion form a series of illustrations to characterize Mustélidée’s products: bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and more. A light and fine typography, reflecting the elegant and delicate design of the jewelry, completes the brand identity. The name Mustélidée itself is inspired by the mustelid family of animals, which includes otters, symbolizing grace and agility—qualities that are mirrored in the jewelry’s design.
To enhance the customer experience, I designed a card to accompany customer gifts. This card features hot stamping printed by Spind Print, which incorporates the shadows of the small mammal, adding an extra touch of sophistication and a personal connection to the brand’s theme. Each piece of jewelry is presented with this unique card, ensuring that customers receive not just a product but a memorable and thoughtfully designed package.
This love for otters, shared by the founder, has created a guiding theme that extends beyond the visual universe. Indeed, for every purchase, a percentage is donated to the International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF), an otter protection association. This initiative reflects Mustélidée’s commitment to wildlife conservation and adds a meaningful dimension to the brand. Customers can feel good about their purchase, knowing that they are contributing to the preservation of these charming creatures.
Furthermore, Mustélidée regularly updates its collection to align with current fashion trends while maintaining the timeless quality that defines its pieces. Each item is handcrafted with precision, ensuring that every piece of jewelry is unique. The combination of high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship results in jewelry that is not only beautiful but also durable.
Mustélidée’s online presence also plays a crucial role in its brand identity. The website and social media platforms are designed to reflect the brand’s aesthetic, featuring serene and elegant visuals that showcase the jewelry in a way that appeals to modern consumers.
