Moura Studio Shapes the Playful and Connected World of Bubbli Ice Cream and Coffee

Bubbli was created to redefine the ice cream and coffee shop experience, bringing together playfulness, warmth and a deep sense of belonging. Located in the coastal city of Guaratuba, Brazil, the brand was strategically designed to connect with two main audiences. The first is the local community, seeking a welcoming space to enjoy quality products. The second is the growing number of Argentine tourists who visit the city every year, representing an important cultural and economic influence in the region.

From the beginning, the project was approached as more than just visual identity creation. It was the development of a complete brand ecosystem. This included strategic positioning, storytelling, community building, visual identity, packaging design, environmental graphics, social media design and motion graphics. One of the core pillars of the strategy was the creation of a brand community called Bolha, an exclusive environment where customers are not only consumers but active participants in the brand narrative.

The community experience is fueled by unique rituals that bring customers closer to the brand and create emotional connections. These include the Giant Cup Challenge, where customers take on an epic dessert; the Birthday Ice Cream Gift, offering a special treat to celebrate important dates; the Instagram Wall Contest, where taking a photo at the brand’s iconic wall gives the chance to win the Giant Cup; the exclusive Bubbli Original flavor, a signature creation that can only be found in-store; and a menu of flavors with their own stories and names, making every choice an invitation to discover more of the brand’s universe.

The visual identity reflects this vibrant and engaging personality. Bold colors, rounded typography and patterns inspired by bubbles create an immediate sense of joy and approachability while maintaining a refined and consistent design system. Every detail was designed to be both visually striking and strategically aligned with the brand promise, from the packaging to the environmental graphics inside the store.

The launch exceeded expectations. Social media engagement surged, with customers actively sharing their experiences and participating in community rituals. The Bolha community grew quickly, turning customers into brand advocates who spread the Bubbli spirit beyond the physical store. Within months, Bubbli had become not only a place to enjoy ice cream and coffee, but also a gastronomic and social landmark in the region, proof that strong branding can transform a local business into a cultural experience.
