Monogram Brandy Gift of Nature Packaging Design

Monogram Brandy Gift of Nature Packaging Design

The Krušik distillery, guided by the idea of creating a premium brandy in a country that grows excellent grape varieties, but is practically unknown in the production of brandy, has been dedicated to fulfill this dream since its founding. The already recognised and awarded top fruit brandies and liqueurs are joined by Monogram brandy SA – a special archive – “gift of nature” produced from top wine distillates that have matured for 8 years in a wooden oak barrels. Amber-gold colour with gentle tannin-vanilla tasting notes give the Monogram brandy an unforgettable sensory experience.
Using elements of retro design and hotfoil printing techniques in the colours of brandy and gold, the packaging design reflects elegance, skill, craft, complexity and time dedicated to creating a premium brandy. Produced in a limited series, Monogram brandy SA represents a complex palette of aromas assembled into a unique, harmonious and rich taste.

Distillation process: To ensure the highest quality of our product, Monogram brandy is twice distilled. The first heating produces a distillate containing 25-30% alcohol, the so-called. brouillis. Then the process of second heating begins producing eau-de-vie (water of life) with approximately 72% alcohol. The fresh distillate is pulled out and filled into oak barrels for the maturing process, which takes a minimum of 8 years. The combination of oak barrels and air affects the evaporation of about three percent per year and this process slowly loses alcohol and water. After 8 years of maturation, great changes take place: brandy softens, vanilla aromas begin to dominate, and the wooden taste in the liquor decreases. The brandy is becoming more and more complex, it is characterised by amber-gold colour, and the continuous process of maturation gives the brandy the so-called. rancio character, specific to a port or vermouth that lay for a long time in an oak barrel. The expertise and specially trained senses of the cellar master are needed to combine the complex palette of aromas into a unique, harmonious and rich Monogram brandy taste.
