Objectives of Rebranding: The objective is to keep up with the times with a design more suitable for the company’s goals since the company is a part of a group. It includes two different subsidiaries with the same name, Event & Media. The media part of the company is specialized in media production and advertisement campaigns. On the other hand, the event part of the company is more focused on seniors in high school. It includes organizing events and activities for them throughout the year, designing and making their merchandise, and arranging their high school graduation at the end of the year. The main goal of Motion Group, the mother company, is to expand from locally to globally and to spread creative content.
Brief: The purpose of this new logo is to have a new and completely different and more complex logo from the traditional M shape. In addition, it expresses movement and fits with the company’s name and field. The most important reason for rebranding is to always stay up-to-date, be modern, and aim at the youth, who are our target audience. The company specializes in Motion Media, artistic and advertising production, and Motion Events specializes in managing and organizing events.
The Stages of Designing: A special font has been designed for the words motion, group, media, and events. The main idea was the letter M with the influence of sound waves. The purpose of choosing waves and combining them with the letter M is because waves never stop and are in endless motion. This perfectly describes the purpose behind the name and logo of motion.
