MO.CA is an Italian cultural center. Located in the heart of the city of Brescia, it is the subject of an enhancement agreement that promotes and develops cultural, manufacturing and historical-artistic research projects. It is home to cultural associations, exhibition areas, archives and ateliers, born from the initiative of young companies.
The acronym MO.CA stands for Moretto – Cavour, which are two streets in the heart of the city of Brescia perpendicular to each other at the intersection of which is Palazzo Martinengo, the headquarters of the MO.CA.
A symbol recognizable by anyone, it’s the fulcrum around which the brand literally and not only revolves. The © symbolizes the protection of ideas and copyright. MO.CA, as an Italian cultural center, is a container within which the ideas of young entrepreneurs, the activity of creatives, the dialogue between institutions and beyond are and will be protected, cultivated and supported. Literally, the © is the pivot around which the elements that make up the logo rotate.
The decomposability, a strong characteristic of the new rebranding, makes the brand fluid, bringing it to adapt to its “container” in the simplest way, without losing its meaning.
The logo in its simplicity is easy to read and perception. The highly readable font allows us to decipher the logo at any size, on any media (printed or digital) and
in any context (urban or intern). It is therefore designed to dialogue with an ever wider audience, exactly as the Center for New Cultures proposes to do.
