Mid-Atlantic Vegan is an online resource helping diners find plant-based offerings.
Mid-Atlantic Vegan offers their unique insights about where and how to work with restaurants to Veganize meat-based dishes. Their list of vegan hacks includes plant-based options and substitutions previously unknown to customers. Their motto of “compromise, not condescension” aims to include everyone, regardless of where they are on their path to veganism.
The MAV team connects directly with small business to help them spread the word of their plant-based offerings. The team also consults with non-vegan restaurants to create a plant-based menu, promote the meatless options and streamline their process. With the future plan to become one of the first plant-based marketing companies, scale was very important. The creation of assets that can grow with the company was at the front of the design team’s mind throughout the branding stage.
We worked with them to create an engaging and instantly recognizable identity that fell in-line with their vision for the organization.
The wordmark is bold, simple and engaging, with a fresh, bright green color palette. A clean, geometric leaf icon reinforces the organizations mission of encouraging plant-based living, while versatile enough that it can be used in a variety of applications.
We worked with the website developers to create an online, searchable guide map listing plant-based options around the consumer. The website is clean, modern and designed to function across many platforms. Readers can submit their tips, favorite restaurants and help promote a health, plant-based lifestyle. A line of merchandise is forthcoming, along with a broader reach and stronger partnerships with local business.
