Metcrom is a Mexican industrial design and engineering firm, formed by a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals dedicated to product design and engineering. Metcrom focuses on the advertising industry, offering services ranging from conceptualization and creative process to modeling, prototyping, manufacturing, and finishing. Their objective is to drive projects with “out of the ordinary” proposals to provide innovative solutions.

When Metcrom got in touch with us, we were excited to discover they were in a crucial time of growth and change. The company was transforming its general approach and needed to rebrand to reflect its new goals and strategic direction. We were proud to be selected to undertake this challenging rebranding project.

For this project, we worked on the overall redesign of the previous brand. In addition to the logo, we developed all the elements accompanying its visual identity and a series of brand graphics that complement Metcrom’s new image. These graphics were used in digital and printed applications to effectively communicate the brand’s new look and message. Each graphic element is designed to be consistent with Metcrom’s visual identity and convey its refreshed and distinctive personality.

The goal of Metcrom is to work on each of their projects in a unique and creative way. They wanted to create a strong brand that stands out for its ideas, so we created scenarios that explore Metcrom’s world of ideas and how they turn seemingly imaginary objects into reality.

We drew inspiration from different materials that allowed us to represent the versatility and variety of Metcrom’s projects through abstract shapes and bright colors. The layered compositions symbolize teamwork and the mix of areas and ideas that enhance the results. In addition, we balanced the strength of graphics and colors with simple applications, geometric icons, line graphics, and clearly typography to convey messages instantly.
