Mellow is a new brand in Saigon, Vietnam providing relaxing painting services as well as soft music, ultra-flexible arts space, tropical drinks, and so on at weekends.

You don’t have to be an artist when coming to Mellow, all you need is an interest in art and the aspiration to express yourself in a new way. Our motto is: “It does not matter how your work is, the quality of customers’ painting experience at Mellow has been our honor.”

Logo: Our initial visualisation of the logo was an interplay of shapes and letters. We used a handwritten font with soft lines called “Bulgatti” to conjure the naturalness while holding a brush. The logo signifies the relaxing feeling and the joy of customers submerge themselves in creative space.

Based on the concept that nature is the inspiration for human artistic creation, we used “Sap Green”, which represents the color of canopy of trees in the deep forest to conjure an atmosphere of creativity, discovery as well as relaxation.

Interior: By applying tropical style to interior space, we want to connect our customers more to the nature to ensure they are comfortable and inspired. Concrete is used for the floor rather than the tiles. Also, the room is adorned with wood furniture, arched entrances, as well as decorative plant pots.

As for the creative space, we optimise natural light by using transparent glass layers facing the balcony which are full of cacti – the highlight in this area.
