MAV – Machine And Value is a small factory, they produce handmade products based on materials in machine parts (gears, chains, …) interior decoration, shop decoration. Their products are aimed at young people who have a hobby of collecting. People who like personal products, handmade products and made from recycled materials.
The requirements set for us, the logo design and wordmark logo, need to convey a “mechanical” image, but not crude. The customer is young people, so, the selected colour is the gradient colour range. The color system ensures youthful, attractive, customer-oriented. At first, we had a hard time dealing with this brief, how can a brand that recycles mechanical products be suitable for young people? But then maybe luck, when we decided to shorten the brand name. From Machine And Value becomes MAV. And use MAV to form a wordmark logo. Besides, an icon was also developed to have more options to use, creating dynamism for the brand. Colour is also a big deal for designers. When it comes to the use of gradient colours, as you know, incorporating gradient colours into a brand identity design is not easy, and it is also difficult to print. So the colour we choose has a retro tone, bringing a sense of oldness, to tell more stories about recycled products.
And, welcome to MAV. We hope to help MAV shape its brand identity in the market, deliver better products, and help reduce the city’s waste. This will be a new breakthrough in handmade products, helping to solve the problem of employment, as well as increasing the enjoyment of tourists when coming here.
