The main objective of this project was to introduce the world to the real Kilishi, made with quality and cultural authenticity, seeking to convey a legacy of flavors from African cuisine and ensure that the brand made a positive impact by revamping its packaging with a more modern and minimalist design, but above all, to connect with new generations of consumers, those who may not have easy access to the product from different parts of the world, who seek to reconnect with their roots and celebrate their culture of origin through Nigeria’s most iconic snack.
Kilishi Beef Jerky is not just a food, but part of an identity, known for its spicy, smoky, and bold flavor, as well as its artisanal preparation, values that were key when conceptualising the identity of the packaging, typography, and an illustrative style that is very much in line with the classic and pure, in addition to those vibrant colors that make it stand out, but which do not allow it to lose its organic and natural essence, highlighting one of the most important aspects of this preparation: Its artisanal value and unique preparation, which is part of it, managing to convey the essence of each flavor in its different presentations, distinct in their level of spiciness, but essential for each type of taste and so that each of its consumers feels comfortable, as if at home. It is not just a product or a brand, it is a history and a tradition that we wanted to enhance and evolve visually, so that this cultural legacy continues to transcend from generation to generation.
