We are at Tatparaa Design Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Recently we have worked on two pickle line packaging design for one of the precious and local brand MatsyaKing; they have have wide range of nonveg Pickles but we have worked on two main one of the famous product of their called shrimp pickle and tuna pickle. the client want very subtle packaging and the direct approach of the nonveg product form sea side so we have researched on some of local nonveg brand and facing the similar issue of the all packaging of the local brand that the have used very direct image of the product and especially the MatsyaKing client don’t want to use any kind of images in their packaging design and they want very minimal and it should be look like very premium range. also one of the main challenges was there is it should be looks like old recipe seafood and it should define two product clearly but should looks familiar to each other like overall the all packaging from the one parent brand and should looks house style design packaging design. The choice was made in favour of two main colour; Red and Green; this is the most common colours of pickles packaging in the local market so we don’t change the colours because the target audience should not confuse about product identifications because so many other brands have already set the benchmark of pickles colours hierarchy so we used an imitation of light old style background for the old recipe and sea wave elements for the seafood touch.

On the front, we showed the main glimpse of the product and also abandoned the use of illustration that facilitated the information perception of the packaging and created a vintage look.
