Since 2012 Marc&Fisa has been producing healthy Snacks and Breakfasts inventing inspiring recipes and using the best ingredients from all over the world. Cookies, granolas, porridges, salty snacks are so beloved by children and their parents.
Marc&Fisa approached me to help them create a new line of Backing Mix with different recipes for now-global operation.
New Baking Mix it’s about having a moment with your loved ones, by making cookies together, by discovering something genially interesting and tasty. That makes you smile, and enjoy the exact moment of peace and happiness.
Task: The task was to create 4 packagings, which would tap in the fillings of 4 groups of end-users: retired women, who spend a lot of time with their grandchildren, working moms, who value their time and quality of food, people who can discern the difference in the quality of product and value the best ingredients, millennials who are eager to try something new.
The range of the Baking Mix included chocolate cookies, oatmeal cookies, carrot cookies and ginger.
Challenge: Create a concept which stands out on the noisy shelves of big chains and attracts targeted groups.
Solution: The preliminary research showed that the colourful and playful tone of packaging would descent a new line from competitors and help to stand out on a shelf. So as Illustrations played a vital role in overall packaging, giving the sense of personality, diversity, and positivity. The idea harmoniously incorporates Cookies in each illustration, becoming the focal point of all packaging, also brought about a complimentary playing tone in packaging.
Each illustration described memorable personal stories in the moment action shots. Personal stories are about each target group: grandma with her grandson, reading books and enjoying time together, young couple having fan by travelling, meddle age man who searching for a new adventure and amusements, mature man who tasting new tea for finding new tastes. The center of each illustration is a cookie, which has a resemblance with the planet, the wheels on the scooter, the cabin of the balloon and the cup of tea.
A beautiful light pastel colour scheme has been picked out so as to create a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Light blue, green, pink and yellow colours have an association with the powder as well. The primary colour is corporate Dark Brown is used to emphasizing the main information on the packaging.
