Maníball Peanut Butter Tequila, the latest creation from Casa Octavio in San Diego, breaks boundaries by merging tradition and fun in a way the spirits industry has never seen before. As the world’s first peanut butter tequila, Maníball combines Mexico’s vibrant tequila culture with the nostalgic, comforting flavor of America’s iconic peanut butter, offering a sweet, thrilling experience for all who dare to try it. The brand was conceived to be more than just a drink; it’s an invitation to unpretentious celebrations, vibrant starts to any occasion, and unforgettable parties.

The challenge for Holy Studio was clear: capture the bold essence of Maníball in a brand identity that would resonate with this lively, adventurous spirit. Our team set out to create a label design that would not only reflect the product’s uniqueness but also position Maníball as the go-to choice for dynamic, carefree gatherings. The label’s design, featuring a playful, energetic squirrel, instantly conveys the brand’s call to unleash your wild side and embrace the joy of life. Each design element, from the vivid color palette to the dynamic typography, was carefully chosen to echo the brand’s ethos: bold, lively, and unforgettable.

However, the project extended far beyond just the label design. While the brand’s primary market is the U.S., plans for worldwide expansion demanded a comprehensive suite of brand assets. We developed a cohesive presence across various touchpoints, including packaging, digital content, and social media. This holistic approach ensures that Maníball stands out, whether on store shelves or in the digital landscape, allowing it to connect deeply with its target audience. The project for Maníball resulted in a packaging design that does more than just contain the spirit; it encapsulates the entire experience of the drink, call to adventure, and a celebration in every bottle.
