M&A Creative Agency Shapes Raízes Into a Wine Identity Rooted in Origin and Territory

Raízes – Shaping an Identity

The development of RAÍZES stemmed from the challenge of translating the identity of a region marked by centuries of winemaking tradition into a contemporary expression. Rooted in Reguengos de Monsaraz, a region where wine is part of the culture, the landscape, and the collective memory, the project sought to highlight this heritage through a clear, structured, and consistent visual language. The proposal took as its starting point the idea of origin the roots that connect the land, the vineyards, and the people—reflecting the deep relationship between the territory, tradition, and the final product.

The design of the label and boxes was developed around a solid typographic approach, capable of conveying character, presence, and authenticity. The composition was carefully balanced to ensure legibility, visual hierarchy, and overall elegance, while a subtle graphic system reinforces the connection to the territory and the idea of continuity between tradition and innovation. The formal, chromatic, and material choices aim to respect the world of wine while introducing a modern and distinctive visual language.

The result is a cohesive and recognizable visual identity that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. More than an aesthetic exercise, the project aims to emphasize the wine’s authenticity and its origins, creating a packaging design that clearly communicates the values of the brand, the producer, and the region that gives it life, celebrating its history, continuity, and deep connection to the land.
