A Story Elevated by Serendipity.

This packaging concept began with two native Portuguese grape varieties – Arinto and Rabigato – whose blend gave rise to a surprising and beautifully fitting name: ARIGATO.

A natural fusion, effortless and authentic, yet strikingly reminiscent of the Japanese word arigatou, meaning “thank you.” From this coincidence, inspiration blossomed.

Where Portuguese Terroir Meets Japanese Sensibility

Rather than imitate, the design subtly echoes the harmony, calm, and refined minimalism often associated with Japanese aesthetics. A soft, meditative palette. Delicate lines. A composition centered on balance and gratitude. These elements reflect not only the name but the spirit behind the wine itself-crafted with intention, respect for the land, and a sense of quiet elegance.

A Label That Whispers, Not Shouts
The embossed character on the label, the clean layout, and the restrained typography were chosen to evoke a feeling of serenity and craftsmanship. This is a visual identity that breathes—leaving space for the wine to speak, and for the story to unfold naturally.

ARIGATO is more than a blend of varieties. It is a blend of origins, ideas, and cultures—an unexpected creative bridge between Portugal’s vineyards and a word that carries universal warmth.
