Luxx Elevating Vacation Rental Experiences with Unique Branding

A few months ago we were commissioned by an experienced vacation rental management company to create their brand new brand, from scratch.

They needed a brand that could appeal to both guests and homeowners and stand out in a very crowded and commoditized market. A brand that added value to their company outside of their P&L.

So we mashed our heads together and created: Luxx

The Luxx brand stands for more than just fancy features.

Luxx understands that what vacation renters really want is an unforgettable experience and memories that last a lifetime.

Likewise, Luxx understands that what home owners really want is a rental manager who invests the same care and attention in their property as their financial manager invests in their retirement portfolio.

Convenient booking tools, spotlessly clean properties, and hands-on marketing support are just ingredients in the recipe of real human connection.

To communicate these values we created a strong Brand Invitation applicable to both personas:

Make Your Stay Remarkable. Make It Luxx.

One of the most exciting moments of creating a brand identity is when you bring all the key parts of an identity together to make something that feels real.

Ingredients such as logo, color, type, images, etc get combined in a special recipe that suddenly makes you salivate.

Our recent work with Luxx left us experiencing exactly that kind of excitement.

Once we nailed down the brand kit components it was time to design real stuff, physical and digital.

So we got busy designing brand swag, social media templates, marketing assets, signage, and more.

Ultimately, our goal with the Luxx brand was to create an identity that was simple, unique, and memorable.

Luxx required an identity grounded in the customer’s own vision; an identity that felt familiar and comfortable, yet bold and exciting enough to incorporate into their own identity.

We aimed to design in such as way that when a Luxx client wears a Luxx golf shirt to the country club, shops their local grocery with a Luxx tote, or books a stay on the Luxx website… it tells others a little about themselves.
