Quiet and picturesque, located in Ceredigion, between Aberaeron and New Quay, Bargoed Farm is an idyllic base to explore West Wales and the beauty of Cardigan Bay, where scenic coastlines meet rolling countryside. As a guest, you’re invited to pitch your tent, park your camper next to a hot tub with a view, stay in stylish Scandi-lodges, or in a rustic farmhouse that sleeps 12. For something fun and quirky, the Moo-Tel is cosy, comfy and perfect for couples, families, and small groups. Day visitors are catered to by an on-site farm shop, a soft-play barn, a play park, a trampoline park, a restaurant and bar, plus a quirky wedding and event space. Every stay is dog-friendly, blending comfort with nature and always accompanied by a warm welcome.
However, the Bargoed name had become problematic since it was often mistaken for the town two hours south, along with the scale of the site and ambition outgrowing the ‘farm’ moniker. The goal of the project was to help the brand reinvent itself under a new vision and establish itself as a confident destination brand. The new name ‘Moody Meadows’, led to a renewed sense of purpose and joyful spirit more closely aligned with the place itself. That’s where Limegreentangerine came in…
The brand had to bring together all the working parts of the farm, moving from a simple campsite with a restaurant to a full destination ecosystem. Whether a camper, a diner, a wedding guest, or soft play parent, the brand experience should be joined-up and broadly absorbing. The Moody name, and the Highland Cow theme that runs throughout the site and decor, is synonymous with the place. The Moody Cow Bistro, for example, is a popular destination for guests and locals alike, so it made complete sense to lean into that.
Awarded ‘Best Caravan Park’ and ‘Children’s Play Centre of the Year’ in the 2025 Wales Hospitality Awards, Moody Meadows is not your average campsite, in all the best ways. For the curious, the laid back, or the ones who like their adventures with a side of comfort, they’ve got it all. Limegreentangerine’s approach focused on clarity, emotional resonance, and long-term flexibility, built around these pillars. Limegreentangerine tapped into the draw of escape, the joy of adventure, a natural sense of quality, and an unconventional rustic charm that’s woven through the site. This patchwork inspired a thread scored by a big idea, an invitation to ‘find your unexpected’.
This visual strategy builds a distinctive, unified destination brand that feels authentically rooted in its landscape but alive with curiosity and playful character, allowing Moody Meadows to stand apart in a crowded category.
The brand is led by playful illustrations and engaging photography. Graphics and fonts that feel approachable, vibrant colours, and a little unconventional charm. A colourful illustration style that is designed to transport you into a place where nature and unplugged adventure sit together. From the natural beauty surrounding the campsite to the delicious food and warm, inviting accommodations, allied with supporting textures inspired by the natural surroundings (bark, feathers, petals, leaves, sand, etc.), the library paints a picture of a joyful, memory-laden escape to the heart of West Wales. Above all, the new brand is warm, welcoming, and slightly whimsical, true to the spirit of a much-loved, family-run enterprise.
