We are very proud to introduce you the Lateral 2021 Calendar: ‘F*ck2020’. 2020 comes to an end, finally. It has been a difficult, cruel, painful year for the whole world. The time has come to turn the page. How? With the power of design, creativity, imagination and a fair amount of irony. We designed a 2021 calendar that celebrates the arrival of the New Year by mocking the bloody 2020, giving shape to what everyone thinks. Our calendar is a design object, unique and limited edition. Initially thought to be sent to present and future customers as a self-promotion gift, but later, due to its success since we first published on social media, also for selling. It’s a table calendar in the form of a leporello where pages have different sizes and are folded to show, when closed, every single month and their variety of colors. A different original illustration every month, by our Designer and Creative Director Francesco Fallisi, accompanies a different wish, in a feast of colours and hope, always keeping in mind the key message ‘F*uck2020’. Thanks to its converting invention can be kept flat and browsed like a book or it can be kept standing on your desk in the shape of a circle or in the most varied forms, as you like, or even hanged on a wall like a poster. When the year has gone you don’t want to throw it away, but you want to keep it, turn it around and hang it showing its B side, as a good luck charm for the years to come. We kept an eye on sustainability and choose Divina paper by Cordenons Group, produced with 30% of Post Consumer fibres and 70% of ECF (Elementary Chlorine Free) from wood-free primary pulp responsible sources. Printed by Tech:art, a premium printing company from Turin, using HP Indigo digital printing technology. 12 months of colours, dreams, small and big desires to wish all of you a happy new year.
